- Looks beautiful, no visible damage on the outside
- Everything worked fine, but as of this week, the CD door won't open anymore. If I press Load CD, a short buzzing sound is audible. But that's it. Nothing happens. The previous owner replaced the belts and cleaned and lubed the tracks. I can still manually open the sliding door smoothly with a flat screwdriver through the opening in the front. If I then put a CD on the axis and press play, the CD is not kept by the clamp (I guess) and drifts of the shaft.
- The glass touch panels are 'blistered'. The still function, but they don't look very nice.
- The sliding door of the tape deck is stuck. You can't manually move it in any direction.
- The sliding door of the CD player moves a bit, but needs some manual encouragement to open or close it completely.
- On connecting or disconnecting from the mains, a rather loud and unpleasant thump is audible through the speakers (RL 6000).
- What are your thoughts about repairing and upgrading the 9500 to keep that one as my own Beocenter (in stead of only repairing and selling it)?
- What could be the cause of the thump of the 9500 on connecting and disconnecting to the power outlet?
- What could cause the erratic behaviour of the CD player of the 9300 (i.e. the sliding door not opening anymore, despite it being serviced recently)?
