Hi there, I hope you cam help. My landline recnetly moved to VOIP.My existing PTSN was pluggedinto the telephoner socket on the router (Vodafone).
All worked execpt caller -id -=the Beocoms would just showe black retangles, but a Beocom 4 and the BeaoTalk 1200 DO show cller id.
Long story short.. I suspected that the Beocom 4 and BeoTalk 1200 worked because they were newer, so I obtained a second hand BeoLine PTSN. Success, well partly. The caller Id is now aprearing on the 4 Beocom 6000 handests, but even though I set them up as 'common' I can't get them to share the clock or the phone book. When I set one to 'common' i get the messages

** NOT BASE 1 **
Also, when I set the clock I get the messages
CLOCK STORED
**ONLY HANSET**
i cannot find any refernce to the "** NOT BASE 1 **" message anywher, the "**ONLY HANSET**" message inplies ther is only 1 Beocom 6000, but they all ring when a call comes in!

Are the Beocom 6000s Mk1 or Mk2? The Mk2 has an INT button to the left of the wheel.
What version of PSTN are you using? Is it the second one along on the table below?
Check compatibility between phone and PSTN using the table - for example there could be problems using BC6000 Mk1 with Beoline EU Mk2.

You could also try re-setting all handsets/bases and setting the system up again from scratch.

I'm not sure which version of PTSN it is, so I have a ttached a photo of the back of it, hoping that will identify it.
I have 3 Mk1 6000s and 1 Mk2. The Mk2 was a big help in opening the beoline for registrations rather than interupting the power all the time.
When I first registered all the handsets, I noticed that there were still 3 handsets registered to the base, none of which were in my possession. I did manage to remove all these, although I thought that would be impossible as I didn't have them!
The actions of setting the 4 handsets up also included a reset on each Mk1 handset with the dot 7 000 9 sequence. Iwill try starting again, though, to see if that gives me the result I would like.
