Beocord 3300 won’t play

Hi, my 3300 won’t play, bought it recently as a non runner thinking it might just be belts. Upon opening up I discovered that belts had been done recently but incorrectly fitted. Refitted them correctly and still no run. Solenoids click and a return to stop whatever is pressed, motor does not run at all. Have read that this could be resistor R8 that is causing this issue. Ordered one from Danish sound parts but there are two on the boards, one on the record circuit and the other, which is enormous compared to the new one, on the rear board by the heat sink. There’s also a smell of burnt electrics generally. Hope that someone has come across this and is able to point me in the right direction.
Any DC voltage on the motor tabs? Martin
