Hi,
I’m looking for a way to turn on my Beolab 8000 over Powerlink when my Sonos Connect starts playing. I don’t have a 5v trigger.
what if I use a Beolink Active and connect it with my Sonos on the aux and I connect my Beolab 8000 to the Active with Powerlink.
would this setup work? And is the IR eye needed for the Active in this setup?

You do not need any additional gear for that.

Sadly my autostart doesn’t work anymore on the line in :(
Bever heard of that before.
Anyway - you can not use a Beolink Active as a standalone device.
In that case, only option you have is a B&O Audiomaster/Beocenter/Beosound for the PL and for connecting to a free port (A.Aux/A.Tape……) there.
