Hello everybody ! I got my hands recently on a Beomaster 3000-2  that still look very good cosmetically but in no so good shape internaly. It smells "old drawer" not the expected electronics materials like  the "Textolite" found on device of that age. Capacitors are leaking and sure thing they all must be replaced. My friend who gave it to me obtained in a garage sale, brought it to a "specialist " to service it  but the guy have not done big deal if he did something. My friend tested it after and was working for a short time before stoping and starting to fume and smell burning. This was few monts ago and sure thing I won't power it up before cleaning it and replace all capacitors and trimpots if necessary. At first sight I don't see any burned parts, traces or components, nor the burning smell still there . I have no experience with amplifiers repairs but I am not stranger of electronics .  I am good with soldering/ desoldering , general troubleshooting , use of oscilloscope and all tools on the electronics tech arsenal so I am not afraid to begin the task of repairing and restore this beautiful piece of tech . I would like however to benefit from the experience of other people that have already did the same. So any advice and warnings before I begin dismantle it for deep cleaning and capacitors replacement would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance! DT
