Hi,
I have an issue with a BeoVision 6-26 that I use occasionally. Today, when I turned on the TV, I noticed that the volume level immediately increased to the maximum (set at 90). Using a Beo4 remote, I was able to lower the volume, but each time I release the button, it jumps straight back to 90.
At first, I thought the remote might be malfunctioning, so I removed the batteries and tried another Beo4. Unfortunately, this didn’t resolve the problem. The volume always goes to the maximum level, regardless of the source. In addition, the volume indicator remains on the screen, whereas it normally disappears after adjusting the volume. It’s almost as if the volume-up button is constantly being pressed.
It’s quite a strange symptom, especially since everything else seems to be working fine.
Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this issue and how to fix it?
Thank you,
Guy
BeoVision 6-26 Volume Stuck at Maximum – Any Ideas?

Do you have any Beocom telephones with volume control buttons? I once had a similar issue where that was having an issue an kept sending volume up signals
Location: Denmark
No BeoCom nearby.
I unplugged everything (mains, sources, removed remote control batteries, even the loudspeaker grid) and waited for a few minutes. Put everything back, turned on the TV and the problem was fixed. I have no idea what was the source of the problem and how it was fixed 🤔
