Hi all, I'm having a strange issue with a BeoVision 7-32 MK I (Type 9318, MMIV/2004), controlled by an older generation Beo4 (arrow keys, no navigation button/joystick). This is actually my in-laws' TV, so I'm not familiar with its history or how it was originally set up. The problem: As soon as I press the MENU button on the Beo4 (with the TV in TV source, "TV" confirmed on the Beo4 display), the IR link between the remote and the television appears to be completely cut off. The remote then has no effect on the TV whatsoever, regardless of which button is pressed. The only way to restore normal operation is to fully unplug the television from the mains, wait, and plug it back in. - According to my in-laws, this used to work fine in the past, but they don't recall any specific change or trigger (it has been set up by BO technicians) - There's a CGV Etimo 2T DTT receiver connected via SCART to one of the AV inputs (registered as V.MEM ) - I tested with the CGV fully unplugged: the problem persists identically - The Beo4 apparently controls some functions of the CGV directly (e.g. pressing STOP turns it on) - No cable connected to the IR CONTROL OUT sockets on the back of the TV - I tried changing V.OPT (tested 1 and 4) with no effect on this issue - No MODE menu available on this Beo4 (confirming it's the older version without navigation) My end goal is to configure the DVI-I (PC) input on the TV to connect the CGV decoder via HDMI→DVI with audio over RCA on a digital audio input, but I'm stuck until I get stable access to the CONNECTIONS menu.
