I’ve decided I have to let some of my stuff go; I just don’t have space for it so it’s going unused, which is too much of a shame!  I have listed these on eBay but I’m open to reasonable offers here.  Collection only, I’m about 20 miles east of Liverpool, UK.  I would consider delivering personally if it’s not too far. Beosystem 8500

Beocenter 8500 and Beogram 8500, both in very good cosmetic condition.  Can also include a Beolink 1000, Beo4, Beo5, or Beo6 remote, if desired.

Beocenter has recently had new tape belts but it does have a fault, which I’m sure is repairable but I don’t know how.  If the tape deck is left unused for a while, it struggles to play.  To fix it you just FF for a couple of seconds, then it will play fine.  If you continue to use it, it works fine; it only does this if it’s been unused for a while.  The glass panels have been refixed.  There is one small imperfection on the painted underside of the lower glass panel (look like the paint is worn away, very small area of about 4mm).  No damage to the actual glass though.

The Beogram 8500 has just had a new belt fitted as the existing one was getting a bit loose.  I can include a recently-retipped MMC4 is desired.

I’ve listed this for £875 on eBay including MMC4 and Beolink 1000, but that is negotiable here.  I do not however want to separate the Beocenter and Beogram – I will only sell them together.

Beosytem 6500

White version with all 4 parts (Beomaster, Beogram, Beogram CD, Beocord).  Also includes the MCP 6500 remote in white.  The Beomaster has just been repaired by Merlin AV at a cost of £325.  The Beocord has just had new belts fitted.

The MCP6500 does have one fault – the top-left LED lamp for each of the numerical digits doesn’t display, but it still works perfectly well.  I can also include a Beolink 1000, Beo4, Beo5 or Beo6, if desired.

The system is in excellent cosmetic condition.  I can include the original black, chrome and glass floor stand, if desired.  I can include a recently retipped MMC4 cartridge for the Beogram, if desired.  User manual is included.

I won’t be letting this go cheap as I’m sure you will appreciate.  Price will depend on inclusion of the stand and/or MMC4, or if any additional remote is required.  I’m really not sure what to ask for this but any reasonable offers will be considered.
