I have a 7.1.4 Atmos system with my BeoSound Theatre. I'm using the following: Theatre for center channel. x6 Beolab 9 for fronts, surrounds, and rears x4 Beolab 4000 for height channels Beolab 2 for subwoofer I have a Strato V and Terra Server Kaleidescape system. I find that the 6 Beolab 9 speakers provide a very rich and balanced immersive experience. Top Gun Maverick and Air Force One sound amazing. Last night, I watched Flightplan on the Kaleidescape and it, too, sounded fantastic. The neighbors threatened to call the police when I watched Dune on it.

I have an Atmos system with 4 sets of BeoLab 17s (using the 8 WiSA channels) and a wired BeoLab 19.  In all my listening positions (my Theatre is on a motorised wall bracket) I always use the FL, C, and FR on the soundbar… why wouldn’t you they are great quality, and then supplement with the 17s all wall mounted.  17s are great height and ear level speakers.  I prefer them to BeoLab 8s, especially as the are flusher to the wall. What I will say is if you want to experience Atmos you need 4 height speakers, so go for 5.1.4 instead of 7.1.2 if you are limited on speakers… there is less difference in 5.1.4 to 7.1.4 as the back track is mixed into the surround tracks using TrueImage, than 7.1.2 to 7.1.4.

I am running a a mix of Powerlink speakers and DPL speakers from a Theatre in 7.1.2 format in a 9.1.2 setup. I use 2xBL20, 2xBL28, 2xBS2, BL19, Emerge, & A9. Recognizing that I have a unique setup, I really enjoy what True Image does with my setup and I enhance it by adding more envelopment through the EQ enhancements in the App of the Theatre.

Im using 18's as fronts and BL3 for rears. Sounds great but I want to replace the BL3's with BL12.3 for more bass in the rear of the room.

Pictures as requested. I use the speakers in different roles depending if the Theatre is positioned towards the 2 or the 3 seater sofas, and whether I am opening the doors to the dining room.
