I am away from my notes, I have 2 x leads which have 7 pin DIN plugs fitted fully wired, are they mk 1 power link or audio link pieces?

Power link or Audio link cables

7 pin are audio aux link cables, also called audio link. Power link would have the extra central pin 8 (even if not connected in some version).

If you are going to just test something the 7 PIN audio AUX cable can work as a full wired powerlink cable. I Usually do this when I need to test something where a fully wired powerlink cable is required.
