I have just purchased a 1982 Beocenter 2100. When I turn it on it always goes to P1 but I would like Aux to be default. Is this possible?

The short answer is no.
Beocenter 2100 is a very nice system in its own right (and highly collectable as they are getting rare), but it's not that advanced.
