Hi all, I recently acquired a Beocenter 8000 in nice working condition but without a remote. After purchasing a supposed aftermarket replacement for the Beolink 1000 (now heading straight back to the seller as it wasn't) I'm wondering if anyone knows of an aftermarket remote that will work or if any other B&O remote, such as the Beo 4, will work.

Thanks for your reply Guy. Yes, that's exactly what I have. Beo 4s seem to be more numerous and less expensive that the Beolink 1000, but I'll keep an eye out for a decent example. It's a shame the remote was missing, but at £100 for a working example including a pair of RL 1000 speakers I don't think I did too badly.
I have another question regarding running a line-level input sub-woofer which I'll post seperately.
