Beocenter 9300 cassette deck noise

If you are sure the belt is correct and not something off Ebay or similar, lubricate the motor bearings. Martin
Hi, my beocenter 9300 cassette deck it works well for the first 10 minutes, than it starts to make like a mouse noise very bothering. If I stop it, the noise goes on. Any suggestion? Thanks, Luigi
Thanks a lot for replying. I'll try that.
Have you tried different cassettes? Some of mine are squeaky as they play. Julian

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried with different cassettes. It seems to be always the same: it works for few minutes, than the "mouse" starts. If I stop the cassette, the noise goes on. To stop it, either I switch to another source, or I switch the Beocenter off. As soon as I can I will try to lubricate the motor bearings as suggested on the thread. Any suggestion to do that? Thanks you all, Luigi
