Hi all,
i purchased a used BeoCenter AV5 a few months ago and i love the sound very much.
Let´s say the best "Bass for your Bucks"as i paid only € 20 for it ;-)
Unfortunately since a few days, the CD-Player refuses to play any CD or CD-ROM. In order to avoid dust on the lens, i always leave a CD in, but the player refuses to start and the lids reopens every time i hit the start button.
Any ideas about my problem?

I would imagine its because its a (IIRC) a 30-year machine and needs some TLC. I dont know if you can get parts but a good electronics service person may be able to look at it.
I remember my first B&O perchase many many years ago (a BS Century in gothic Green). It was a ridiculously expensive TV back then. kudos that you have one now.
