Beocentre 2000 turntable removal

Hi all, I've recently acquired a Beocentre 2000 which I'm in the process of servicing. Ive come to a standstill unfortunately.

I can't work out how to remove the turntable and the service manual doesn't help. I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious. I think I've got all the screws out.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

For me pressing down on one end of the turntable makes the other end come up, so that I can grab it. Also I have the same Beogram 2000 5821 and I have troubles with the tone arms up and down movement. Does yours move freely up and down when playing? Could you send me a video of the tonearm mechanism? Specifically the „black box“ which holds the end of the tone arm? Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply. At the moment the tape deck and radio are out of the unit so I can't do any videos but I do have issues with the height of the tone arm and it skating across records. I suspect the small screw next to the pivot may be there for adjustment but until I can get the whole top cover off I can't be certain.
