Making AUX input work on Beocenter 9300

Hi everyone I recently acquired a Beocenter 9300, and I'm trying to connect a Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter to the AUX input. The BT device works (I've been using it on my previous Hifi amplifier); it connects via RCA, so I've purchased an RCA - 7-pin DIN cable, and I've connected it into the TV/AUX input on the back of the Beocenter 9300. When I turn everything on, connect my phone into the BT device, and start streaming, the AUX does not activate on the Beocenter; and I can't activate it manually (pressing the AUX touch-button doesn't do anything). Since I don't have a remote control for the Beocenter, what do you suggest I do to activate it? Thanks for your help!

Only a B&O-product would talk Beolink, and make the BC to start from an input, it won't start by an incoming audio signal only. Do the other input or the standby touch-button work? Can you test it in TAPE2? The glass panel with the touch-buttons might be loose (due to aging of the double-sided tape that holds it into the frame) and the glass might have lifted on the edge of the glass panel causing the touch-buttons not to work (or needing a stronger push to first push the glass panel back down to the original position).

Thanks for your reply! TAPE2 produces exactly the same result; pressing the TAPE2 or AUX buttons, with or without an input connected, does not trigger anything. Those 2 inputs can't be activated. All other pushbuttons (Radio, CD, Tape) are perfectly functional. Maybe connecting the speakers will change this behavior (they aren't connected yet, because I'm yet to receive a pair of 2-pin plugs to connect them).
