What makes you think they need re-capping?
I've owned dozens of B&O cassette decks over 30 years or so, and not one of them has required re-capping.

The sound quality went completely to bits. That is to say, it is terrible. I have a Beocord 8004, 9000, and 4500 and none required recapping to date. But one by one these 5000's died. Worse, I had one of my three 5000's recapped and it wasn't enough. Plus one of my decks smells strongly of electronic burning even when turned off.
