Beogram 1102 mechanism

Hello, I recently picked up a Beogram 1102 very cheap. It looks like it's been in a stack of lots of junk in someones barn, so some parts are cracked and the 45/33/turn switch has seen better days, but repairable (i think :-) ) I'm just trying to work out where the arm in the photos attached (marked with red arrows is supposed to go, it's hanging about loose at the moment.   thank you
Hi and welcome to Beoworld, You should start by downloading the service manual from that model or a similar one (most Beogram have many variations and sometimes diagrams can apply to different models). If you plan to repair/retore the deck, the service manual will be a great help. What I would also do is to do a google image search: there is plenty of beogram guts pictures around and they are often very helpful when it comes to put back a lose component. Good luck and congratulation for your find.

Hi, thank you.   I have the service manual already but unfortunately the parts diagrams don't show how this arm (moves the tone arm) connects to the rest of the mechanism. I'll continue to search images on the web and i'm sure i'll find the answer there. I'll also widen my search to other models if there's a chance they use the same or similar mechanics.
The white head of this arm should be on the other side of the cam wheel, operated by it. Its head should be riding against a teflon sheet with a thick metal backing plate found under the platter. Take off the cam wheel, the metal plate with teflon backing and fit the arm correctly so that it swings the tonearm when the cam wheel rotates, dampened to a smooth travel by the spring loaded teflon sheet. Martin
Hi Martin, thanks for that. I think I follow what you mean. I'll give it a go and report back.
Hello again, so  thanks to Martin I've now got the tone arm mechanism back in the correct place and working. Yay!   I've included some photos just in case it helps anyone else.   Now, on to fixing the trashed 45/33/Turn button mechanism.
oh, and this photo too
