Beogram 4002, clack, scratch sound

Hello everyone , I have a Beogram 4002 in very good condition, all the meckanic parts work perfectly and the sound reproduction is brilliant! Unfortunately a clack, scratch sound ramdomly comes back at least once every LP side. As amplifier I use a Beomaster 4400 which otherwise works perfectly both with my Tape cassette deck and for playing from my computer. (tape 1 and 2) Has anyone heard about this problem? Kindest regards Mats
While I have not heard of this issue, there are some questions that can narrow it down.
  1. Does the sound occur only on one channel?
  2. Does the sound vary with volume; for example, if the volume is turned way down is the sound soft?
  3. Does it occur at the same position on the record or randomly?
  4. Are you using the DIN or RCA jacks?
  5. Have you tried cleaning or replacing the two trimmers R112/212?
Is the clack and scratch sound coming out of the speakers or from the Beogram? Martin
Hello, I don't know, the only thing I'm sure of is that I do not hear te sound when I play anything else than the Beogram 4002.   Kindest Mats
Reply to Mark-sf On 1, 2, No! 3. Randomly 4. I'm using DIN, that's what my my Beomaster 4400 has 5. What is  R112/212? Kindest regards Mats
Could it be the DIN contact on the Beomaster 4000?   Kindest regards   Mats
Can you hear the sounds also if you play a record with the Beomaster turned off or its volume at zero? Martin
No, then I don't hear anything. Kindest Mats
