I recently acquired a dead 4002 turntable. I changed a bunch of transistors that tested badly and turned it on. It all worked for about a minute then the rectifier diodes (D1-D4) started smoking. Any ideas?
Thanks

Something shorted?
Which transistors did you replace?
How did they measure wrong?
And what did you fit instead?

thanks for the response. Appreciate it. I am using a dim bulb tester now....I replaced TR13 and 14 as they tested bad. But now IC1 is suspect - tests as a diode on a working 4002. Fails any test on this board.
