Apologies for the formatting. It looks like a quotation, the message box is cut off at the edges on my android phone browser. Really fiddly to use.

I just fixed the formatting for you. Yes it's a bit tricky to use on phones - if I have to use a phone I tend to hold in landscape position whilst formatting.
Do you have the service manual for the BG4500? It's available on site for Silver and Gold members. I think that people have removed or by-passed the internal pre-amp in the past and it would be worth searching the archived forums for info.

My Beogram 4500 hinge has come out if its location, i noticed some plastic broke off where it was attached… is there a wat of fixing the hinge back to the top plate as it will not go back in place.

Looks to me like the area the screw fir the hinge screws into the plastic around it broke someone tried a repair that worked for a while, however to me not a good repair. Im trying to figure out how i can fix it better and what to use to do so.Your cropped closeup had me confused as to where the failure was. It is actually the hinge base not the hinge which has lost its screw. My recommendation would be to epoxy a nut (or if not wide enough add a washer) to the underside from which a screw from the top can thread. Thanks i got sine epoxy and it worked perfecty
