My Beogram 7000 record player came back this week after a full overhaul here in The Netherlands. I had it for many years and surprisingly the MMC1 is still working well, so no stylus rebuild necessary yet.
Years ago I read a post here about recapping the Beogram 7000 RIAA and the effects on the sound quality. Since I couldn’t do any of this myself, I asked the brilliant Dutch technician, who was doing the overhaul, to include the RIAA recap.
The result on the overall sound quality is amazing! As if a new sparkle has been added to the sound of my records. I received a photograph of the RIAA board after the recapping, so I thought I would post it here, since it might be helpful for others who are able to do this themselves.
