I purchased this turntable, which worked, but the belt wasn't original. While waiting to buy it, I decided to lubricate the threaded shaft and the rear steel shaft of the shifting mechanism. After that, every time I press the Start key, it doesn't stay on, and therefore the turntable doesn't work. If I move the carriage by hand toward the center of the turntable, it works. When I press the Stop key, the carriage moves to the rest position, and I can no longer get it to work properly. Thank you very much!

Its unlikely that lubricating the carriage drive screw and associated wheel would cause the problems you describe, I would take a close look at the carriage position sensor and ensure it hasn't become detached or damaged..see the attached blog from the beolover....his issue was different to yours but i suspect it could be related...send some pics of your unit for us to view

First of all, thank you for your response. The IR diode has the correct voltage, 1.1 volts, and the receiver has 5 volts at the collector and 0.7 volts at the output.
I unsoldered the IR diode and tested it with my cell phone's camera, and it works. And the receiver didn't move at all (I think).
It sounds to me like the servo belt is slipping due to wear or the pulley’s lock screw support is cracked. You can also have this problem is the threaded rod is not parallel with he supporting rods.
Ok.....when you press start does the turn table rotate?.....also as Mark suggests does the transport motor drive with the belt removed, if so this would prove a fair amount of the unit is operational....hopefully it is an issue withthe belt slipping as this will be an easy fix for you...

Thanks for your reply. The drive belt for the scroll motor is new and the motor works perfectly. and the threaded shaft is parallel and has not suffered any impact in such a way that it could have been damaged.
Thanks for your reply. The engine runs at both 33 and 45 volts, and the drive motor runs normally without the belt, and it does with the (new) belt.
When you press start, the inward movement of the tonearm activates a switch on the slide PC board that causes it to remain on. If that is not happening you will get that problem. If you keep holding the Start button, does the arm advance to the middle as long as you hold it as it should?
Now, another problem: if I move the tangential arm by turning the motor by hand, I can raise and lower the arm. The Start works at 45 RPM, but not at 33 RPM, which controls that speed?. I took out the Transistor TIP120 and TIP125 RPM models and checked them with a tester, and they were fine.
