The don't use the same baffle foam - that seems to be white, but they did use a self adhesive foam wrap for the cables. I am trying to resore a pair of speakers at the moment, and part of that is cleaning out all the rotten foam. I am currently using iso propanol alcohol to loosen the glue residue from the wrap, wiping with sections of paper towel. Its a very messy and sticky job. If anyone has suggestions as to how to make it easier I am all ears. I am thinking of using cotton tape to replace it - is that the right product to be using? One of the speakers doesn't react to a signal - the LED will go green briefly but quickly switches back to red after power is applied.
