Hi all, I have a pair of BeoLab 8002 that I want to use with an external DAC (ESS 9023 Sabre chip) > connected  via Line-IN on the 8002, with a shielded cable, and of course set the foot switch to the right position.   Problem: When I stop the music, the 8002 does not switch back to stand-by; the LED remains green and the speaker stays powered ON. What I’ve tried / setup details:
  • The DAC is AC-coupled and provides a typical line-level signal (~0.9-1 V RMS)
  • Standard shielded cables, 1 meters in length
  • I have put 47K ohm resistors between Pin 3 and GND, end between Pin 5 and GND > no result
  • I have set the volume output of the DAC to zero (to see if this could 'silence' the signal > no result
  • Changing the DAC to different audio source; iPhone via same cable > the 8002 does switch back to stand-by correctly
I think the fact that the DAC is AC-coupled might be the issue. But is there any suggestion how to make this work?
