Thanks for this Steve, I find it really interesting to see why some design choices were made. Still curious how the one piece bezel is actually produced before it gets bent and polished!

Gotcha! A loop milled from a strip. Smart "software guy"! (19:12). Good persistence to hold on to a design philosophy so much that a weld (that normally is hidden on the back) gets eliminated because the speaker is 360°, and hence has no back!
