Beolab penta 6621 "soft clipping" activates at moderate volume

Hi Forum ,   One of my penta's kind of activates "soft clipping " at moderate volume .   What can cause this ??   Anyhelp appreciated
Hello @nitro2 Couple of questions: what is the source? Is it a Beomaster, a tv or other line-level product? If a Beomaster is used, what volume is shown on the Pentas? What type of music? Does it happen all the time when any source reaches the same volume?

Location: Kent, UK

Beofan for many years with a penchant for 1990s audio systems.
Type of music does not matter , the 4 of them are connected to a beomaster 7000 , volume on the set around 40 when the "soft clipping "starts on 1 of the 4 penta's ( always on the same unit ) And this problem excists whatever source is played , always around 40 ( ish )
Could suggest that the amp runs not symetrical. Any DC on the speaker output? Martin
