If one adds a pair of BL17s connected through WISA via the Theatre, can one update their software using the B&O app?

Can you update BL17 via WISA using the Theatre?

I think it can only be done with either a Dealer plug-in or using a Transmitter1

My dealer (when I bought 17s for use with. my Theatre) brought his laptop, connected with cable to the 17s, and did it from there (service tool I guess).
Willie on the podcast says that it fact it needs to be done via a Transmitter 1 I think, to get the "latest" software.
Mine were done via laptop, and have been fine with the Theatre (contrary to my prior fears!)
