Conectin 6000s and 8000s together
4 replies
Hello good people, today I got my first pair of 8000. However, I already have 2 sets of 6000 and will change one set to 8000. My Q is "can I connect the same way as I have now?" I have Beosound 2500 connected to one 6000 and from there to another 6000.
By the way, I will buy Beolab 11 sub as well. How will the connection look in that case? And another Q. What should I buy to use Beosound 2500 and also another source of sound for Youtube and mp3. Because it is not very smart to use AUX all the time on my Beosound I guess.
Thank you very much!
The 8000’s do not have the required second PL port.
You’d have to use an external splitter from the first to the second.
However, since you want a BL11 as well, you simply run the PL cable to that and use the 2 output port there for the 8000’s.
Since you have no other input option on the 2500, you will need to use the A.Aux there for an external device.
P.S. Why it that a problem for you?
