Dear all. Thank you for all the great information. Really helpfull for hobbying with all the Bang and Olufsen possibilities gives us long term. After reading relevant posts I could not really find the solution for my new setup. Therefore, I am hoping for some expert knowledge. I had this fully wired ML setup:

• BL7-55MKII in option 2 with speakers
• BL9000 MKII sw 2.1 in option 0 without speakers. Chromecast Audio as A.AUX/TAPE/PHONO input for Audio Streaming distribution.
• 2 BV's6-26 9290 (HDMI version) in kitchen and bedroom
• BLGW linked parallel in the ML chain
• Bought a BLC together with the BLWG for future use, but was not using it

Last week I bought a Essence MKII together with another BLC. My first steps in the NL/Multiroom world! First install:

• added the BLC to the ML in parallel like the BLGW and wired it to the NL network
• added the Essence to the same NL network without speakers and without IR eye
• linked the Essence to the BLC in the Beo App
• setup the BLC as AudioMaster as this was the only way to distribute audio over ML
• discovered all devices in the BLGW and added the BLC and Essence as Networklink products in de BLGW with all Essence resources visible

As expected this gave problems because the BS9000 was already the dedicaded AudioMaster and is not programmable otherwise. Result: the commands RADIO, CD and A.MEM(/A.AUX/N.MUSIC/N.RADIO) started the sources on the BS9000 and not the Essence resources. Simply turning off the BS9000 is a workaround for this. That is actually my current setup. But I really like to use the BS9000 instead of only looking at as a work of art. My next try to get it working:

• linked the BS9000 with ML to the BLC, no direct connection with the ML network anymore
• BLC wired to the NL network
• BLC setup as A.SLAVE

Result was that I could start BS9000 from the NL side (Beo APP, Beo Living APP), but the ML devices did not react anymore and therefore no audio distribution to ML. Now I am puzzled and in need for some expert knowledge if there is another solution. My best guess from all the information is to link the BV7-55 directly to another BLC. The BV7-55 resources will be visible in NL and vica versa the BS9000 resources are visible for the BV7-55 as if they are NL recources. If this best guess is the solution, I still have additional questions:

• BLC BV7-55 as Audiomaster or VideoMaster?
• BS9000 as VideoMaster or AudioMaster?
• Or both as A.SLAVE or both as Source Centre?
• Which Product by Apps should the BLC control? (VideoMaster, AudioMaster or even the Beosound Essence)
