Beolit 15 Faulty

My Beolit 15 is five years old and has recently gone totally dead.  I have tried the reset process described by Bang Olufsen support on their website and it doesn't help.  I contacted B&O Support and they responded that they cannot help with an Out of Warranty repair.  My local authorised B&O re pair guy says he cannot get the information or parts to repair from B&O here in the UK, it would have to go to Germany.  I have contacted Kose Trading and they suggest sending it to them in Denmark.  Are there any repair shops in the UK that can help?  Looking at EBay it would appear that quite a few units fail in this way.
I have the same problem with a Beolit 15 of a similar age. No solution yet!
