Hi. I've just bought a Beomaster 3000 on eBay manufactured in 1971 . Phono and tape are fully functional but there's no audio output from the radio receiver ( including FM and all pre-set buttons). Both headphones socket and speakers are silent). Any advice or idea? Thanks

Ensure that the source selector is set to "Radio" or "FM" when you're trying to listen to the radio. Sometimes, it's a simple matter of the input being incorrectly selected.Make sure that the FM antenna (typically a wire or external antenna) is properly connected. A weak or disconnected antenna can result in poor or no reception. If there's no audio from the FM radio, the tuner section might need attention.
Does the Signal meter deflect and/or the red tuning arrows flicker, as you travel the dial?

- The signal meter does not deflect and the red lights turn on only once. Thanks! Joan
