Just bought 4400 . Lights up, shows fm signal but no sound to speakers. Any suggestions?

Have you pressed the buttons for Speakers down on the front (there are two separate buttons)? Also, the balance pot may need a cleaning.

Wrong setting of muting level, perhaps.
Try without Silent Tuning (AFC/ST off).

Have you connected anything to the inputs to determine if the problem is across everything or just the FM side?
