My most recent acquisition (as I continue to suffer from incurable Beovirus) is a full Beosystem 6500 in white, which includes the MCP6500.  It is in excellent cosmetic condition but was obtained at a good price because it's not fully working. Beogram and Beogram CD both seem fine, although tested only briefly so far. Beocord will need new belts (makes a noise but will not play or wind), but I've met that challenge before and fixed a few B&O tape decks, including a 5500, which I know is very similar to the 6500. The main problem is the Beomaster, which gets no power.  I am no electronics expert but I opened it up, and found a fuse next to the power supply; hidden beneath a paper flap thingy and I can see a fuse labelled 'T2A'.  I tested it with a voltage screwdriver, and I'm only getting power at one end.  I removed it and could then see it had clearly blown.  Could be an easy fix! However, I checked the service manual and I think I can find the above fuse given as F1T2A on the circuit diagram, but I also see another fuse on the diagram labelled F1T5A, and I cannot find it!  I figure I might as well test that one too, but I don't know where it is!  If anyone happens to know it's location, please let me know. I know there'll be a reason the T2A fuse blew and it might not be a simple fix, but I might as well start there.
