Beomaster 7000 not responding to Beo4
7 replies
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I recently got a few B&O products, but I am not able to get it working.
I have a beomaster 7000 and beogram cd 7000 hooked up to 2 beolab Penta's, and trying to control them with a Beo4. However, it doesn't respond to the remote. Also, whei put in a CD it is extremely loud, I can't adjust the volume, and only coming from one speaker. What should I do to get this working?
Set the Beomaster to Option 1. On your Beo4, press Standby button (the red dot) and List at the same time. Your Beomaster will turn off, and the Beo4 will show Option. Press 1 and Store or Go (I don't remember).

Slight correction to above: After Power/LIST together, the Beo4 screen shows ADD. Press LIST until OPTION shows, then press centre button (GO) whereupon screen shows V.OPT. Press LIST until A.OPT shows, then press 1.

My B&O Icons:
or the Beo4 is set to continuously control a device set in option 4.
then search for "config" in list of the Beo4 and type "2002" to reset the Beo4 to normal functionality.
