Beo6 features functionality with Beoplay A9.
I am curious: is this functionality thru the Wi-Fi feature of the Beo6, or via the IR-emitters of the Beo6?
If the functionality was via Wi-Fi, why was A9 included as a configurable service on the Configuration Tool, but not, say Beoplay A6 or M5?
Thanks in advance,

Ahh, thought so. So the Beo6 communications with the A9 were one-way, and all based on IR! No A9 feedback to the Beo6 screen!
Given this situation, it makes sense then, that Beo6 cannot communicate to BeoPlay A6, as the A6 only interfaces are WiFi and Bluetooth.

As far as I know only the 1st generation of A9 worked with Beo4, 5 and 6 as it had an infrared port. Later generations of A9 only work with Bluetooth.
