3D print battery cover for the Beo4
5 replies
Hello all,
I need two new covers for my old Beo4 remotes and discovered this here, where a 3D print model can be bought by 2€;
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/bang-olufsen-beo4-battery-cover
I wanted to ask: did anybody already tried on that? Or are there alternatives (3D print models) or maybe it is recommended to buy new covers?
Thanks and best regards!
It may work.
A good idea for sure.
When I'll have time I may try to design one myself.
But (disclamer: I don't know anything about 3D printing) objects I've printed so far were too much laminated (they will eventually delaminate) or too stiff to allow the cover to bend enough to open.
But again I don't know about PLA, PPL, LPO and any fancy name plastic wires have!

Many thanks for your reply!
Yes, creating something on yourself and 3d print it is really something special, however, I think I will try to get it from a b&o dealer.
If you are unable to source the part from your dealer, we can help 👍
