Bang & Olufsen Beosound 9000 Repair - San Francisco

Hi all, Please let me know if this is the right place to post this discussion. I'd purchased a Bang & Olufsen Beosound 9000 from an audiophile's beloved collection. The unit still functions great! It reads discs and the glass door is still fully functional. However, the sledge that moves between the CDs seems to be stuck. It's stuck in place when powered and moveable when powered off. Does anyone have insights on how to diagnose and fix this? Or anybody know someone in the Bay Area / San Francisco area who is capable of servicing the unit?   Thanks in advance!
Hello, Please avoid moving the sledge by hand, as doing so can cause the motor to feed back and potentially damage the drive transistors. The sledge should not move when the unit is powered off, unless it was turned off while attempting to change a CD. No Movement: If the sledge is not moving at all, the drive transistors may be blown. Check TR18, TR19, TR20, and TR21. PCB35 Motor control. Clamping Issues: These are often caused by dust buildup on the worm gear for the clamper. If left unaddressed, this can eventually damage the motor. Possible User Repairs "Cleaning Required" Message: This message appears when the CD player cannot detect the door. The sledge will usually begin to move after some time, albeit slowly. Clean the black sensor windows on either side of the CD player. Reboots After CD Selection: This may indicate that the safety laser lens needs cleaning. Clean the two small clear lenses located on either side of the CD player.
