Can't seem to search through this forums anymore (?) so forgive me if this has been covered before ...
I need to add a 'new' setup to my collection to as part of a refurb, and am considering either a Beosound 3200 OR a Beocenter 2 - neither of which I have experience with.
This is for audio only, and will mainly be used with streamed music or a turntable (with phono stage) via the Aux-in on either, rather than the built-in CD /Tuners.
I'm drawn to the design and kinetics of the Beocenter 2, but it feels (at least to me) that these were never widely accepted as an audio master? Compared say to the 3200 or infamous 9000 (which sadly I don't have room for).
Is this perception fair? Or any other observations I should consider? Will be driving a pair of Beolab 3's on table stands, and the room is 9m x 4m

Well, I know that the Beocenter accepted both audio CDs and DVDs to watch movies. While BS 3200 comes with a CD player and the internal HD and BS 9000 allowed to incorporate 6 CDs, The BL3 with the acoustic lenses is a speaker to place it as a stereo front, it has bass and is well accompanied by the BL11
BL 4000 are good also for a BS3200
I would go for BC2, I think its a class B&O product. They are not expensive now and I think well built.

There are a few posts in both this and the earlier forum regarding failed hard-drives in BS3200s. I don't think it affects the rest of the system but be aware that they do fail, and if buying one check the hard-drive functionality. I don't think that they are easy to replace.
