Beosound A1 Gen 2 Aux input

Has anyone figured out how to send analog audio to the Beosound A1 Gen 2. I want to connect it to a turntable (with built-in RIAA amp) for my daughterm but can't seem to find any information on whether this is possible.
In the old forum, there was a post talking about why it was difficult, and why various solutions like ADCs and Belkin devices do not work.
Any solutions? Does Steve at Sound's Heavenly have any magic cables?
Thanks,
Stan

Hi Stan,
You need the A1 mk.1 if you want to use an analogue wired input, as there is no way to do this with the mk.2 version unfortunately.
Kind regards, Steve.

I have a gen1, but it is currently being used. I have a gen2 that is available. I don't really want to buy a 2nd hand gen1 because of age/battery life. However, it is good to know that analog input to the gen2 is not an option.
