Beosound A1 second gen stereo pairing problem

I have owned a pair of second gen Beosounds for a couple of months now and I have had problems with audio breakup with them when paired and connected to a Samsung Android 13 phone. The behaviour was bizarre. After 17 minutes of playing audio the audio would distort and breakup for a few seconds. The problem only occurred with APTx not AAC. I seem to have found a solution. I have one black and one silver speaker. Originally I powered on the black speaker first, then the silver speaker, then selected the black speaker in the app, then finally paired the speakers. Now I power on the silver speaker first before using the silver speaker in the app to pair the speakers. The problem has gone away. Both speakers are using the latest firmware. Hopefully this may help others who experience this problem.  There doesn't seem any logic to explain the change in behaviour...
This solution proved to be short term. I have now found the cause. The app needs to have unrestricted battery usage rather than the default which restricts usage.
