BS9000 Spins Backwards

Hi all, Having some trouble getting a BS9000 running. Laser attempts focus 4x before the disc starts spinning backwards, then slows to a stop. I have already tried two new lasers, among other troubleshooting. Sledge works perfectly fine. Any ideas?

It happens the same here with my MK1. backwards, then “pause” message. I have just purchased another laser unit.

I have a new laser and this sometimes happens with me when I don't properly place the disk securely in the slot.  I just take out the disk and make sure it's snugly in there and its fine.  Perhaps this is something different for you?
