Hi,
Can I use a regular 12v DC power adapter for Encore 5? I lost my original B&O power adapter. I'm thinking to modify the DC power cable.
1. What voltage is required? 12v? 5v? Do I require 2 separate voltages to power up?
2. What's IR at pin 4?
I don't require to link to external speakers or such, I'm only using the headphones OUT jack. So just looking to power up the Encore 5 will do.

i realised my connector is this...
does anyone knows which pin goes to which?
I would suspect that 2 of the pins is Ground and probably internally connected.
If you have a multimeter you could do some continuity testing to find out if any of them is connected.
