Hi,
I'm trying to diagnose sledge not moving (SLG ERR 42) and CD that won't start to play on a Beosound 9000 MK1 and I can't get the CD test modes to work.
Here's what I'm doing: Beo4 SHIFT 90258. There's a pause and Testmode shows on the display. I understand I need to select CD to access those modes, but when I press CD it exits test mode and tries to play.
Non-CD test modes like 27 work fine but I can't get the CD ones - WRG SRC/TM. What am I doing wrong?

Figured it out, user error.
Beo4 "SHIFT 90258" (Test Mode) -> "CD" (CD 1 shows) ->"OK" (TM NO?)
I also had the control panel disconnected so that also was maybe screwing things up.
