I have a BeoSound 9000, MK3, Type: 2571, Ser#: 1759 xxxx. The Laser unit is dead (had that before with another one), TM's run, cleaned the lens and under it, but still ... So I am going for replacement. Questions

• I found some information that the laser unit for this model should be a VAM-1255. Is that correct? (Visually comparing, I think it is)
• I see different ones with great difference in prices, even upon to €200. Anybody experience with ordering such laser pick-up u nit via eBay or AliExpress?

  The laser unit I took out: Login to view image Login to view image   I did read that there VAM-1255 and VAU-1255 units, that they are comparable, but that the VAM is the more robust and better quality Philips version. And the VAU is produced by Visteon or a Chinese OEM. So I assume I should get a VAM original.
