How can I make the inbuilt DVD in the Beovision 7-40 region free.?
Step 10 in the Keith Saunders instructions requires LIST on the Beo4 until "Shift"
I have 3 different Beo4 remotes , and can't find the "Shift" command on any of them
Help needed please

To add SHIFT to the Beo4:
- Press Power (Red Button) and LIST together, the display should read ADD?
- Press GO.
- Press LIST until the display shows SHIFT then GO.
- SHIFT should then be listed under LIST

Thanks heaps for your reply- I now have SHIFT on the Beo4 !
I followed Keith's instructions , but still not region free.
It does say it's important to disconnect the DVB-T module before making the DVD
Region Free.
Where will I find the DVB - T ?

I assume from the earlier thread that you have access to the 'special' Beo4 remote hence are able to get the REG2 command to show.
I too am not sure what is meant by 'disconnect the DVB-T module', but if you look at this FAQ it describes the DVB-T in some detail which may enable you to work out how to disconnect.

You're right - thanks to Mr 10% I now have the special remote that
shows the REG 2 command. And thanks to your advice , I have now got SHIFT as a
command on the Beo4.
After all that I still can't make the DVD region free,
