I'm thinking about buying the Beosound A1 2nd gen. But I could not figure out how the volume control works. Some Bluetooth boxes have a volume control independent of the connected device while others just change the volume of the connected phone. The latter has the disadvantage that if you are using an Android phone you are stuck with the 16 volume steps Android has. With an independent control you can regulate this more precisely. Which one is it for the Beosound?
