Hi,
I'm planing to "lift" BV9 upstairs. Corridor is too narrow and stairs.......hmmm. Does anyone have experience or has someone put that TV to smaller more lighter pieces? One can of course hire a crane:)

I have no idea what can be taken off. You would obviously need help but if your not comfortable trying this get a pair of house moving guys who are used to moving stuff in tight spaces.

Unfortunately, BV9 is a 110 kg monolith and I would not take the risk to dismantle it.
The best is to hire movers, you'll take advantage of their tricks... and strength :)

The Beovision 9 is in fact extremely easy to disassemble, by far the easiest of all B&O TVs. The heaviest part ist the plasma panel, which ist attached with a few screws and connected to the Beosystem 3 only with a DVI connector and the mains cable. It took me around an hour to disassemble, transport and reassemble the unit within my house. The panel can be carried by one strong person or two guys of average build, as can the housing with speakers and Beosystem 3. I strongly recommend going this route.
The disassembly process is (briefly) covered in the service manual, which can be found on Beoworld or via google document search.

Hi, been planing to move bv9 upstairs next weekend. Checked it (TV) a bit from here and there. Should not be a bad thing to do at all. Lets see how it goes:)

Hi, TV 124kg + two strong guys would be at least 300kgs. I really question durability of my old house stairs:) They also make 90 degree curve and are relatively steep........
