Here it goes, I am big B&O fan, but since I live in Serbia you can imagine how hard is for me to afford some of their products and now I have a chance to buy beovision 7-32 type 9341 MK3 with beolab 7.4.
MY problem is how am I going to connect TV with my TV cable router, Cable router have HDMI, and I guess HDMI to DVI will solve picture, but how I will transfer the sound cause even I find HDMI to DVI + L/R Audio it will only transfer stereo LR sound but TV have only mono center speaker. Will it have sound at all,, then if I want to connect Sony play station 3 for my son, same problem.
Is it possible to connect my TV router with only HDMI as out to BV7 and to have the HD image and sound on BL 7.4 only and latter on to have sound on BL 7.4 + PEntas or BL6000.

And the Beolab 7.4 will produce the sound from the L and R input from an audio extractor without problem.

Will it work on BV7-32 with beolab 7.4 cause this is central speaker. and later on will I be able to play sound on bl7.4 + Pentas or Bl6000? Cause the way I see it the TV will get L-R sound and not for example LR+Center or Suround.

I tried to reply to this yesterday (with quotes) but my post disappeared!
Basically 'yes' you will have image and stereo sound.
In the BV7 menu Speaker settings you will select 'Speaker 1' and the sound will be output from just the centre BL7.4. When you add additional speakers you will have to change the speaker setting menu to include the Pentas or BL6000s.
I think that not all BV7-32s are HD ready, but if you use the Audio Extractor that I listed first in the other thread it should strip the HDCP and the picture will work OK. If you get a BV7-32 that is HD ready then you may be able to use an Audio Extractor that also has a digital coax output, allowing the TV to process surround sound from the hdmi source. I have not tried this!

I'm reviving this old thread to ask a follow-up question. I also have a BV7-32 MKIII with DVI-input, though with the standard Beolab 7.1 speaker. I'm trying to connect the Beovision to my modern HDMI set top box, which also has a optical digital audio out socket. Getting the picture through with a HDMI to DVI adapter works just fine. For the audio, I've tried a HDMI audio extractor from a different brand than the ones suggested on this forum, however this didn't work (the picture becomes very unstable or drops off completely, and there is no audio despite following the instructions here on how to connect to the Beovision's analogue L-R audio input sockets). I also tried the optical digital out route, getting an audio converter from 
Welcome to Beoworld Gustav - sorry to hear that you are expereiencing problems connecting to your BeoVision.
Having read your post, here are a few things that I would try:
- Double check all the TV settings to make sure that the correct audio connection (analogue or digital) is chosen together with the DVI input.
- Check in the menu of you HDMI set-top box to see if you have to chose how the audio is output (via hdmi or optical output).
- I don't have experience of trying to conect digital sound myself, but perhaps you should go back to trying analogue, in which case:
- Try a different HDMI converter with an analogue output, and check its audio output with (eg) headphones before connecting to the TV.
- Try connecting another device (eg phone with headphone output) to the TV's analogue audio inputs, just to check that they are working.

Thanks a lot for your help and suggestions. I've checked the TV settings for audio connections and the only options to choose together with the DVI input is either A1-A4 digital audio in or "NONE", for analogue option. I have also checked the set-top box settings, and here the only relevant option is to turn on/off the optical audio output S/PDIF (which I have of course set to on). So it seems for digital audio I have tried all the possible options with this set-up. It would have been great to be able to test on another device if the set-top box is actually outputting digital audio but as mentioned I don't think I have such a device/amplifier/speaker. Maybe someone else has been able to get the digital audio in option working on a BV 7-32.
I also tried testing the TV's analogue inputs. I connected my laptop via the 3.5mm output to the L-R inputs and set the audio in for AV4 to "NONE". I tried playing some music from the computer with the TV on and this worked well. So it appears the analogue inputs are working. So I have now ordered two of the suggested HDMI converters with analogue outputs (one also has digital output so could try this as well), so will try this out once they arrive.
