Beomaster 5: harddisk or SD?

Hi BM% users, Is there anybody who has succeeded in replacing the original harddisk from the Beomaster 5 for a SSD? Accessing and changing maps is rather slow now. Thanks in advance, Joris

Hello Joris, I did that a few years ago. I was able to go from 500GB to 1TB. Beoworld member Rendboell shared a lot of detail of how he has been doing so, and I followed his description carefully. It involved taking out the HDD and cloning it to the SSD with a cloning device. And also using a specific type of SSD. Check this thread carefully:
